Italian Herb Kitchen - Seedball

This kit contains 3 recycled aluminium pods, each containing a peat-free coir coin and a seed ball with 5-10 organic herb seeds. This kit is a great way (and easy!) to start growing your own parsley, basil and oregano from seed.

Peat-free coir
Organic herb seeds
FSC-certified cardboard box
Re-usable recycled aluminium with cork topper
Ideal for a kitchen windowsill
Full instructions on the box

This kit was created in collaboration with POD. It is easy to use: remove the seedball, fill the pod with warm water up to the neck and set aside while the coir discs expand. Pop the seedball on top of the coir. The seed balls will sprout within a few weeks and when the growth is well above the top of the pod you can transfer into a bigger pot to allow the plant to fully grow, leaving a re-usable pod for storing dried herbs.

About Seedball

Emily & Ana are the creators of Seedball – they want to fill the world with wildflowers and they are starting with your garden! Seedball is a non-profit company on a massive mission to help increase the abundance of British wildflowers and wildlife that depend upon them. We believe that if we can all better use whatever space we have available to us (whether a back garden, balcony, window box, little patio etc) we can together have a hugely beneficial impact on our local ecosystems. The last 50 years has been witness to huge declines in pollinators and other garden wildlife, but together we can really really do something to reverse this. For us we want Seedball to inspire a wildlife gardening revolution while providing a very handy way of going about it! Conservation is in our heart and soul and one day we dream to fund our own Seedball wildflower reserves.
